UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN CATASTROPHE

Save Ukraine Now serves as a non-partisan coalition to alleviate Ukraine’s humanitarian catastrophe by providing direct aid to the Ukrainian people and serving as a voice to governments, media, NGOs as well as to the general public.

Save Ukraine Now hopes to keep 10,000 refugee children warm during the winter months.

HELP US THIS WINTER DONATE A SLEEPING BAG AND A TEDDY BEAR

     TO 10,000 NEEDY REFUGEE

        CHILDREN IN UKRAINE.

A manufacturer discount makes it possible for us to buy, ship and distribute a sleeping bag with a teddy bear for each child for $20.

Most of the refugee centers and camps lack adequate heating. The government of Ukraine does not have the resources to fight Russian aggression and care for the 150,000 children displaced by this war. A sleeping bag is the difference between being cold and warm.

Our President, Gary Kellner, described a haunting memory in his first visit to a Ukrainian refugee center when he saw 30 or 40 children huddled under tables, wearing coats because the center was not heated.

He decided to do something about it.

SUN provided enough wood to heat the center for the winter.

According to the United Nations, more than 1.7 million children in Ukraine require some form of humanitarian assistance. Unless caring people in the West help, many of these children will get sick.

But we do not just want to keep them warm, we want to know they are cared for. That's why we are also giving each child a teddy bear.
